Needs
Today compliance with standard management systems may be mandatory but it is not necessarily the mark of an outstanding organisation. Where standards are involved, management systems are relegated to particular scopes (quality, environment, health and safety) and are focused on what an organisation does to achieve certain goals within those areas. The certification process itself aims at verifying the fact that companies are complying with those requirements.
What about processes not strictly related to a particular scope (such as Leadership, Policies and Strategies, Resource Management)?
What about results (customer, people, impact on society and financial)?
How can an organisation evaluate its potential to achieve and maintain excellent results?
How can management system ensure excellent results?
How can an outstanding organisation distinguish itself from other organizations?
Many organizations are looking for an answer to these questions.
ICMQ India offers an innovative "Scoring Service" based on the EFQM Excellence Model proposed by the European Foundation for Quality Management (www.efqm.org).

The EFQM Excellence Model is based on 9 criteria: five criteria are "enablers" that cover what an organisation does and how it does it, whilst four criteria are "results" that cover what an organization achieves.

There is strong logic behind the EFQM Excellence model: "Excellent results with respect to performance, customers, people and society (balancing short and long term view) are achieved (and maintained) through leadership driven policies and strategies that are delivered through people, partnerships, resources and processes".
